Yazıhöyük
Located in the west-southwest of the Derinkuyu district, in the town of Yazıhüyük. There are village houses around and at the foothills of the mound. The mound consists of two terraces extending east-west. On the mound, numerous worked obsidian cores and flakes, as well as pottery fragments from the Chalcolithic Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age, Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods, have been found. It is a first-degree archaeological site.
