Sobesos Ancient City
It is estimated that the settlement of the ancient city of Sobesos, located to the south of Şahinefendi Village of Ürgüp, dates back to the middle of the 4th century AD. Excavations in the ancient city revealed a large meeting room covered with mosaics, a bathing structure, a chapel and its complex.
